Vitivinicola Fangareggi - V.gna Rosa Lambrusco

Vitivinicola Fangareggi can be considered a fine family business. Farmers since the 1800s, they’ve been cultivating Lambrusco grapes for over a century. But the real turning point, dates to 2005 when Giuseppe decided to take up this ancient tradition, from the teachings of his grandparents and great-grandparents. The principles of advanced integrated pest management are applied in the vineyard, with limited intervention and only mechanical weeding, thus reducing the impact in the vineyard to a minimum.

Made from a blend of Lambrusco di Sorbara, Fortana and Pinot Nero, a black grape variety characteristic of Emilia-Romagna that seems to have origins in Burgundy. The grapes reach perfect ripeness and are harvested by hand to carefully select only the best and healthiest bunches.

Dark sugared pink colour, intense and vinous bouquet with hints of rose petals, engaging, fruity with good intensity where the note of bitter and traces of bread crust predominate. Fresh, with good structure and persistence, it is soft on the palate with fine foam.
