Hople - Superleggera Johanniter
Hople - Superleggera Johanniter
Paczków, a historic Polish city known as the “Polish Carcassonne,” is encircled by a well-preserved 14th-century defensive wall. A stone’s throw from the market square lies a 5-hectare vineyard established in 2005, boasting optimal conditions for viticulture. The vineyard cultivates a variety of white and red grapes, producing wines that have garnered acclaim among connoisseurs. Adjacent to an 18th-century barn, the vineyard houses a modern winery, continuing Paczków’s legacy of historical charm and wine excellence.
This Johanniter is golden straw colour. It's a balanced wine with good, lively acidity. It has concertrated ripe fruit, petrol, chamomile and some savoury character. Very fresh! Quite long in the mouth with some spice at the end.
